At the recent Inter Provincial Golf tournament between Province’s 1 and 17, Ged Flanagan won both the Province 17 Rene Trophy and the Inter-Provincial Danson Trophy. The match was played at Macclesfield Golf Club and Ged came in with a very credible 37 points, which, when you consider that this was Ged’s first game at Macclesfield and also his first game with Golf Society just goes to show that he played very well. We look forward to his handicap being reduced for next season! Well done Ged.
Ged was presented with both trophies by Province 17 Director Mike Guerin at Warrington Circle’s Charter Night in January.
