There are ten Circles that are located within Province 17. They are all in South Manchester, Thameside Cheshire East, Crewe and Warrington. The circles are listed below and you can find more details about them – including links to their web-sites where available:
Province 17 Circle Locations
Ashton-under-Lyne (172)
The circle membership is mainly from the Tameside area of Greater Manchester.
The Circle is served by the parishes of St. Ann’s (Ashton), St Christopher’s (Ashton), St. Mary’s (Dukinfield), St. Peter’s (Stalybridge).
Circle meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 8.00p.m.
Venue: All meetings are currently held via Zoom
Brooklands & Didsbury (189)
Brooklands and Didsbury Circle members predominantly reside in the South Trafford and Didsbury areas of south Manchester which consists of Sale, Ashton-on-Mersey, Broadheath, Brooklands, Sale Moor, Timperley, Stretford, Chorlton and Didsbury.
The Circle is served by the parishes of All Saints (Ashton-on-Mersey), Holy Family (Sale Moor),
St Hugh & St John’s (Timperley), St Joseph’s (Sale), St. Bernadettes and St. Kentigern’s (Fallowfield).
Circle meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 8.00 p.m.
Dress Code – Lounge Suits, ties are optional.

A five-minute drive from Junction 7 of the M60 and all major motorway routes.

Crewe and District (147)
We were founded in Crewe in June 1950, and are the daughter Circle of Stoke-on-Trent Circle (13).
The catchment area is the largest in Province 17 spanning Northwich in the north, to Nantwich in the south and Alsager in the east of Cheshire in addition to Crewe itself.
Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month (December varies) at 7.30pm Holmes Chapel Community Centre, Station Road, CW4 8AA.
March, June, September and December meetings take the form of dinner with ladies, preceded by short Circle Prayers for all – advance booking essential to secretary@crewe.p17catenians.org.
June meeting venue may be different.
Knutsford (182)
Knutsford Circle is based in central Cheshire and its area roughly covers Mobberley, High Legh, Goostrey, Chelford and of course, Knutsford and is centred around the Parish of St. Vincent de Paul (Knutsford).
Circle meetings are held on the 1st Monday of each month at 8:00 p.m. (when this is a Bank Holiday the meeting is held on the 2nd Monday).
Venue: Cotton’s Hotel, Manchester Road, Knutsford WA16 0SU.
Macclesfield (127)
Macclesfield Circle draws its membership from the parishes in the town and the surrounding area of Macclesfield and Congleton.
Circle meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
Venue: Tytherington Club, 90 Dorchester Way, Tytherington, Macclesfield SK10 2JP
North Cheshire & Wilmslow (154)
North Cheshire and Wilmslow circle members predominately come from the Altrincham, Wilmslow, Hale, Hale Barns and Alderley Edge areas especially the parishes of St. Vincent’s (Altrincham), and Holy Angels (Hale Barns) and St.Teresa’s (Wilmslow).
Circle meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
Venue: Ringway Golf Club, Hale Rd, Hale Barns WA15 8SW.
Ringway (224)
Ringway circle is principally based around the parishes within Stockport, Hazel Grove and Bramhall.
Circle meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
Venue: Davenport Golf Club, Worth Hall Lodge, Middlewood Rd, Poynton, Stockport SK12 1TS.
Warrington (103)
Warrington circle draws its membership from the parishes in the town and the surrounding area of Warrington and Lymm.
Circle meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m, with alternate meetings on Zoom (October, December etc.). Face to Face meetings are followed by dinner with ladies.
