Biography
Born Eccles and attended St. Lukes RC Primary in Salford and Stretford Grammar School. Career in transportation research and consultancy with degrees in Environmental Science (UEA), Urban Planning (Coventry University) and PhD Transport Planning (Nottingham Trent University). I was engaged in post-doctoral transportation research at Loughborough University before a career change to transport consultancy took me to London for several years, followed by 13 years in the USA. I have also worked in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Delhi, Colombo, La Paz and Santiago. Moved to Mobberley in 2011 and now work as a freelance transport planning consultant. I joined Knutsford Catenians in 2012. Served as President, 2017-18.
