North Cheshire and Wilmslow Circle

Welcome to the website of North Cheshire and Wilmslow Catenians.

The Catenian Association is an international group of Catholic laymen, committed to their Faith, their families, to those in need and to support each other.

The local groups are known as Circles, and are located in cities and towns in the UK, Ireland, Malta, Southern Africa, India and Australia.

Circles are grouped into larger regions known as Provinces. Circles will try to be mutually supportive both within their province and throughout the wider association.

This site is provided by North Cheshire and Wilmslow Circle no.154 whose members predominantly come from Altrincham, Hale, and Wilmslow which covers, primarily, the parishes of St.Vincent’s (Altrincham), Holy Angels (Hale Barns), St.Teresa’s (Wilmslow), St. Pius X (Alderley Edge) and St.Benedict’s (Handforth).

The Circles operate a varied social programme involving wives, children and friends and aim to cater for all ages providing fun, support and enjoyment whilst enabling friendships to flourish.

Our primary purpose is to establish a network of friends providing mutual support in our family life, our Faith and which provides practical support in difficult times. As well as supporting each other we do all we can to support our Parish, our Clergy and the young people of our Catholic community

North Cheshire & Wilmslow Catenians meet on the third Monday of the month at Ringway Golf Club at 7:30pm.

Location

Ringway Golf Club can be conveniently accessed from the M60 and is just 4 minutes from junction 6 or 10 minutes from the centre of Altrincham. It is located opposite Holy Angels church in Hale Barns.

Car Parking

The venue has ample free car parking. The entrance to the car park is on Shay Lane.
Note: an exit code for the barrier is required on leaving.

Accessibility

The car park is surfaced and has disabled parking by the entrance. There is a dropped kerb and level entry to the foyer.
The meeting room is on the first floor accessed by stairs or a lift?? from the foyer (check).
